The Pokerstars blog reports that the company's much-hyped 85 billionth hand was dealt Monday, with punters at the milestone table reaping a total reward of $93,000, capping a promotional run-up that has seen thousands of dollars dished out in prizes.
 
The big hand landed at a six-handed 2 cent-5 cent NLHE table dubbed "Josephina", delivering a welcome surprise to the six participating players, headed by hand winner som6873 from Russia, who received an extra $26,300 along with the $36.35 in the pot.
 
The other five players split a bonus of $66,700.
 
More than a quarter million people were playing on Pokerstars when the 85 billionth hand hit.
