Four new Omaha variants will be launched this week
Pokerstars has confirmed rumours that it is to launch 4 new Omaha poker variants this week, naming the new offerings as Courchevel, Courchevel Hi/Lo, 5 Card Omaha Hi/Lo and 5 Card Omaha.
Players have pointed out that the launches are the first new variants to be made available by Pokerstars since its Badugi offering back in 2008.
The new variants will be available at six-max tables with blinds ranging from $0.10/$0.25 to $200/$400 in the Pot Limit games and $1/$2 to $1,000/$2,000 at the 5 Card Omaha Hi/Lo and Courchevel Hi/Lo tables, a spokesman has confirmed, adding that they will also be playable in Pot Limit format. Courchevel Hi/Lo will also be dealt at Fixed Limit tables.
