PokerView Shuts Down

Another Merge Poker Network operation closes
 
Merge Poker skin Poker View has closed its virtual doors, offering to transfer its players to a choice of other Merge skins after just two years of operations that started on the troubled Everleaf network before switching to Merge.
 
The company's website advised players this week:
 
"PokerView has been purchased by a third party. Your funds are safe and you will be playing poker shortly. Please choose a Merge preferred partner and follow the steps outlined.”
 
The choice presented to players is  Carbon Poker, and account transfers can be effected through the Merge network.
 
The third party that bought Poker View, which touted webcam action as an attraction, has not been revealed, but it appears that the brand will no longer be available on Merge and joins a graveyard that includes other former Merge sites like Iron Duke, Overbet, Hero and RPM
