Euro 6.9million won on NetEnt’s Mega Fortune

Another massive progressive jackpot win – this one for Euro 6,864,858 – has been announced on Net Entertainment’s progressive jackpot slot, Mega Fortune by an online player at the Paf.com internet casino.

The big win follows a world record-breaking jackpot just last September.

The new win, worth GBP 5,707,230 or $8,780,151, was achieved by a 30 year old man from Helsinki, Finland, on January 17/18, 2012. The previous jackpot was won in September last year, paying Euro 11.7 million, which was confirmed as the largest online slots jackpot ever by Guinness World Records.

The Mega Fortune progressive had built up to almost Euro 7million in just four months, and is part of Net Entertainment’s jackpot network, pooling the liquidity of players from several of Europe’s largest online casinos. Since its launch in 2008, Mega Fortune has become one of the most popular games in Net Entertainment’s portfolio.

During the last year alone Mega Fortune has paid out over Euro 26 million to lucky players around the world, a company spokesman said this week.

Anders Sims, PR Manager at Paf.com, commented, “This is a very proud moment for everyone at Paf.com and we would like to pass on our congratulations to the winner. We are a gaming company that was established with the sole purpose of generating money for good causes and we have already donated Euro 160 million over the years. It’s a real honour for us that such a huge jackpot has been won on Paf.com."
