Former nail salon owner Qui Nguyen has taken down the WSOP 2016 Main Event for $8,005,310 and his first ever WSOP bracelet emerging victorious on the other side of an 8-hour heads up match with Gordon Vayo.

Nguyen, considered to be relatively inexperienced in terms of his competitors, has only cashed once in the WSOP with his largest live tournament cash being $9,029, WSOP revealed.
