RAMSGATE FC MOBILE BETTING FROM WORLDLINK

Friday May 18, 2012 : RAMSGATE FC MOBILE BETTING FROM WORLDLINK

White label revenue share offering

A Ramsgate Football Club white label mobile betting service was launched by UK-listed Worldlink Group (WLG) utilising services from Bet Butler, this week.

The launch of the mobile application, on a revenue share basis, is a progression from the white label online betting offering that launched in January 2012 in PC format.

Ramsgate joins Sunderland RCA Football Club who utilises WLG's company’s white-label online and mobile sports betting and casino service.

The Worldlink Group, who claims gatekeeper patents on providing changing data in real-time for mobile services in both the sports and financial markets, is currently embroiled in High Court proceedings against City Index in a patent infringement suit.  City Index deny infringement and have counterclaimed that the patent be revoked.

In related news, the company has taken a stake in the newly formed Global Tipping Limited (GTL) company which is headed up by former European and Asian managing director of Bodog, Keith McDonnell.

GTL claims the development of a unique sports tipping service, Napdaq.com, designed in conjunction with the software development team at Worldlink.

Yet to be launched, Napdaq.com is a peer to peer tipping service that carries no fees.  It provides public opinion on a sports event, rewarding tipsters with ratings and monetary reward.

Keith McDonnell, chief executive officer of Napdaq, added: "The idea stemmed from the many ‘paid for' tipping products available throughout the globe. We have worked carefully to create a solid monetisation program on the back of this free tipping service. I see a huge opportunity for this service through the channels that Worldlink is developing. We, in turn, will look to take Worldlink's services to a larger audience."
