Rekoo to launch operations in London's Tech City.
 
One of China's top social gaming development companies, Rekoo, has announced its intention open offices in London"s Tech City, reports the publication News Techworld.
 
Rekoo is a Beijing headquartered firm that has a staff of over 500 deployed across Asia, and the new London venture will be geared toward development and marketing, initially with a small staff of just ten people hired locally, although the branch is expected to grow over the next few years.
 
The company claims it has 20 million daily gamers on desktops and 10 million using mobile devices, with its Find Somnething game attracting a total of 100 million players since its launch.
 
Lisa Pan, a Reeko executive, said Thursday: “Companies in the UK produce very high quality games, and being in London means we can attract world-class talent and find new business opportunities with UK and European developers.”
