Revolution Poker Network Combatting Chip Dumping

Tuesday July 30,2013 :  INTERTOPS COMBATS CHIP-DUMPING AT REVOLUTION POKER NETWORK

All cash game and sit ‘n go wins being audited

If you're up to no good on the Intertops poker skin on the Revolution Poker Network, beware – the company is on to the activity and is taking stern measures against it.

The online poker information site Professional Rakeback.com reported this week that Intertops has identified a "dramatic increase" in chip-dumping and is subjecting all SNG and cash game wins to a tough scrutiny before payments are made to player accounts.

This stringent policy has been implemented to curb the practice of chip dumping and protect bona fide Intertops players, the company said in an announcement on the twoplustwo message board.

“All winnings are being reviewed by the network security before they are authorized and credited to the player’s account,” an Intertops representative posted. “This causes a delay between cashing out of a table / winning a tourney and the accounting process.”

However, the representative later amended his statement to exclude MTT action from the audit policy.

Professional Rakeback believes that the main culprits are Lock, Cake and Juicy Stakes players, who have been complaining about extensive payment delays for some time and may be resorting to chip dumping on financially secure sites to get their money out.

There have been recent reports that some Lock poker players have been prepared to accept between 30c and 60c for a Lock dollar just to export their account balances.

Lock has claimed that it has overcome processing problems and is now paying more timeously.
