Scientific Games expects to complete W.M.S. deal

Scientific Games expects to complete W.M.S. deal later this year.
 
The acquisition of land and online gambling supply company W.M.S. Industries by Scientific Games is another step towards completion following the news Thursday that the approval of the Nevada Gaming Commission has been secured.
 
Scientific Games made the announcement, adding that it expects to complete the transaction in the fall of 2013.
 
"We are pleased to have received unanimous approval from the Nevada Gaming Commission and thank the Commission and the Nevada Gaming Control Board for their diligence in reviewing and approving our transaction," said A. Lorne Weil, chairman and CEO of Scientific Games.
