Gambling Blitz in Selangor province in Malaysia

Thousands arrested this year.
 
The chief of police for the Selangor province in Malaysia advised local reporters Tuesday that his men have kept up a continuous online gambling blitz across the province since the beginning of 2016, arresting 5,609 persons in 3,602 police raids.
 
Datuk Abdul Samah Mat said:
 
“Also seized were numerous computers, gambling machines, laptops, tablet, hand phone and simulator worth RM31.3 million as well as cash amounting to more than RM200,000."
