Is Shane Warne heading to Sportingbet?
 
International cricketing legend Shane Warne has left 888Poker after six years as its roving ambassador.
 
In an almost offhand tweet this week the often controversial international celebrity and cricket star gave no reason for his decision to depart, but the split seems to have been amicable enough.
 
Warne said he had enjoyed his association with 888Poker but that the time had come to move on.  In a later tweet he revealed that he is still keen on poker and would like to improve his skills and continue to play in professional circles.
 
Interestingly he commented: "…new partnership announced soon," which coincides with his recent appearance in a Sportingbet television advert.
