Siena casino in Reno Launching Online Poker Site

Wednesday October 30,2013 :  EARLY 2014 LAUNCH FOR ANOTHER NEVADA ONLINE POKER SITE

Reno hotel and casino firm Siena plans to enter the market during first half 2014.

With a Nevada online poker license now on the wall, the Siena casino and hotel company out of Reno has revealed its plans to launch on the Nevada intrastate online poker market in the first half of 2014, providing more competition for presently operational sites Ultimate Poker.com and WSOP.com.

Apparently Siena is developing a "HD Poker" offering in partnership with a Nevada start-up titled Z4Poker, which came to notice most recently in its application to the Nevada licensing authorities for a six month extension to complete technical development.

In something of an oblique shot at his competitors, Z4's chief technical officer, Eric Colvin, says that players prefer good software and an enjoyable playing experience to expensive advertising campaigns.

He hinted that his company's offering will offer innovative features that will give it an advantage, and that the software would be compatible with a wide range of mobile and social networking devices.

In Colvin's view, online poker technology has seen little innovation over the past decade. "We plan on launching something completely innovative that hopefully will be greeted with a sigh of relief by the community – something that will be disruptive to the existing technology. Open beta is just around the corner,” he claims, adding that in Nevada his company's introduction of real money poker action will be preceded by a soft launch in free-play mode.
