Skillz SDK multi-player cash tournaments now playable on iOS devices.
 
The launch this week of mobile skill gaming developer Skillz's new SDK multi-player cash tournament platform for iOS devices like the iPod, iPad and iPhone gives players on the go access to over 150 skill games in the Apple App Store, a company statement claimed.
 
Skillz noted in the statement that cash competitions in skill-based games are legal in 37 U.S. states.
 
The launch will also support the development of the Skillz skill gaming community, which the company claims is growing at the rate of 10,000 users a day, generating around 20c per average daily user.
 
Skillz CEO Andrew Paradise claims that while some of the best known and successful mobile social games like Candy Crush are generating between 5 and 10 US cents in average revenue per daily active user, his company has partners who have added three times that amount in incremental revenue through the addition of the Skillz cash tournament platform.
 
“Results like this are why we’ve had over 200 studios sign up as pre-launch customers and today have over 100 games available on the App Store,” he said.
