Leeds-based online gambling company judged among "Best Companies to Work For".
 
Staff at the Leeds, UK base of online gambling operator Sky Betting and Gaming received the encouraging news this week that they work for one of the most employee-friendly companies in Britain.
 
The company has been acknowledged in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies lists as being among the best to work for; a prestigious accolade arrived at after extensive independent research into employee engagement in the UK.
 
All the scores and ratings studied to compile the lists are based on organisation-wide employee opinions, and each year the questionnaires are revised and updated to reflect current workplace concerns.
 
“To be recognised in this way less than a year after becoming an independent company is a fantastic achievement for everyone at Sky Betting and Gaming," said the company's brand and personnel director Rob Painter in a presser this week.
 
“I’m incredibly proud of the culture we have created and this award represents a significant step on our way to fulfilling our ambition of becoming the UK’s best digital business. There’s never been a better time to join us.”
 
That fits well with a recent announcement by the company that it is making an GBP 11 million investment in the creation of 200 new jobs
