Saturday April 13, 2013 : SPIELO G2 CHOSEN BY OLG AS PRIMARY SERVICE PROVIDER

Important expansion into North America

Boss Media AB, as part of SPIELO G2, the iGaming division of SPIELO International has been selected, through a public tender process, by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) to provide online casino table games and slots, a Player Account Management System, and Player Services.

The five-year agreement, which includes a three-year and a two-year option for extension, marks an important step in OLG’s modernisation strategy and SPIELO G2’s expansion within North America.

SPIELO G2 will deliver its Player Account Management system to OLG via its Gaming Management System (GMS). GMS provides operators with a view of the interactive player, as well as player protection and responsible gambling features, which will support OLG’s commitment to drive growth and innovation through responsible gambling.

In addition to Player Account Management, SPIELO G2 will deliver a range of games, including a suite of table and slots games featuring French Roulette.

“SPIELO G2 is pleased to provide a solution that will support and enhance OLG’s modernisation plan to become a more innovative and sustainable organization, while continuing to be a North American leader in Responsible Gambling,” said SPIELO International President and chief executive Walter Bugno.

“We will ensure that their entry into the online gaming space meets those goals by providing products and services that will delight players, while adhering to the highest standards of responsible gambling and player protection."

SPIELO G2 launched the Canadian Poker Network (CPN) in 2010 through an agreement with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) and Loto-Québec. More recently, through BCLC’s arrangement with Manitoba Lotteries, players in Manitoba have been able to play in the CPN since January 2013.

"Moving into the internet gaming market is an important milestone for the modernization of OLG," said Rod Phillips, President and chief executive officer of OLG. “We are pleased to offer a safe, secure, regulated and entertaining Internet Gaming option in Ontario where profits will support those things that are important to the people of this province – health care and community infrastructure."
