Aynga Acquires Spooky Cool Labs

In an effort to aid its transition to online gambling
 
Despite office closures and staff lay-off's, social gaming giant Zynga has acquired Chicago-based Spooky Cool Labs, run by a team of social and real money gaming veterans from Aristocrat, IGT and WMS Gaming, reports TechCrunch.
 
Spooky Cool Labs was founded by Joe Kaminkow, who holds the position of senior vice president of game development at Aristocrat Leisure.
 
The acquisition is set to boost Zynga's foray into online gambling and the monetisation of its social games.
