Strobe fast-fold online poker is now available

New product now operational on the group's Ongame network
 
Following reports of its soft launch of a fast-fold poker variant earlier this week, the Amaya Gaming group has confirmed that its Strobe fast-fold online poker is now available on subsidiary Ongame Poker Network.
 
Ongame CEO Sacha Kechichian said Strobe is also fully supported on Android and iOS mobile platforms, and offers lower rakes and five-handed games.
 
“Playing Strobe Poker on a tablet or smartphone is a true killer application,” said Kechichian, claiming that the product delivers intense action and the ability for punters to quickly jump in or out of games.
 
Amaya acknowledges the significant popularity of fast-fold poker, which it says now accounts for 40 percent of all cash game hands on Ongame.
 
“Strobe is an important addition to our offering and we are proud to roll it out to all of our customers and for all platforms,” said Fredrik Kjell, head of poker for Ongame Network.
 
“We strive to protect the poker ecology and have chosen to decrease rake by 20 percent on Strobe Poker games. By combining fast five-handed games, lower rake and mobile support, we are confident that players will embrace this great addition to the poker industry.”
