Stephen Thornton Appointed by Senet Group

SENET GROUP STRENGTHENS BOARD

Health sector and online-only gambling representation.

UK gambling watchdog Senet Group has announced the appointment of Stephen Thornton as an independent director.

Thornton’s background lies in the health sector where he has held numerous high profile executive positions.

“It is really valuable to have someone with Stephen’s strong health sector and operational background join the board at this time to help us in our endeavour to reduce gambling-related harm,” Wanda Goldwag, Chair of Senet Group, said.

Chief executive officer of Sky Betting & Gaming, Richard Flint, was also appointed to the board bringing online-only gambling experience as the group focuses on promoting online codes of conduct.
