The regulated online gambling market in New Jersey has a new contender following the news Monday that Philadelphias SugarHouse Casino land operator has launched an online casino in collaboration with New Jersey-licensed online operator Golden Nugget.

Online gambling writer Steve Ruddock broke the news on Twitter, revealing that Playsugarhouse.com is now up and running after a brief test phase last week.
 
Ruddock notes that this is not the first move into the New Jersey online market by a Pennsylvanian land operator, pointing to Mohegan Suns venture last year, and the 888 collaboration with Mount Airy.
 
The SugarHouse online casino is available on desktop as well as mobile Android and iOS platforms, offering games from quality suppliers like Aristocrat, Bally, High 5 Games, IGT, NYX, Shufflemaster and WMS.
