Tabcorp in 3 year deal with Tasracing

Luxbet will benefit from sponsorship agreement.
 
Australian land and online gambling group Tabcorp has inked a three-year sponsorship deal with Tasmania’s racing operator Tasracing, along with a 10-year broadcasting rights deal with Sky Racing.
 
The deal allows Tabcorp, through its Luxbet online brand, to have naming rights for the Elwick, Mowbray and Spreyton racetracks, the Tasmanian Summer Racing Carnival and the Hobart and Launceston Cups.
 
It additionally gives Tasracing the ability to broadcast all Tasmanian racing live on  tasracing.com.au and club websites around the state, sschduled for launch in the second half of 2016.
 
Tasracing chairman Dean Cooper said the new arrangement would provide the state racing industry the ability to broadcast to international markets.
 
"This is important as international broadcasts of our racing provided a record $475,000 in returns to the industry last year,” he said.
