High stakes online poker fans had plenty to get excited about over the past week as Viktor "Isildur1" Blom and Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky tangled with some of the best nosebleed players out there and took home six figure profits.
 
Playing on the $200-$400 Pot Limit Omaha virtual tables, mainly at Pokerstars, the duo scored profits of $636,620 on 16,317 hands and $837,798 on 7,998 hands respectively in enthralling exchanges with top drawer professionals like Berri Sweet, Isaac Haxton, Jen Kyllonen, Phil Ivey and JayP-AA, according to the publication High Stakes Data Base.
 
Blom's achievement was made more remarkable by the fact that he began the week by taking losses of $600,000, but managed to bounce back to finish as one of the biggest winners.
 
Sulsky and Blom clashed heads-up at one point to add spice to the railbird experience and $270,000 more profit to Sulsky's bankroll.
 
The biggest casualty for the week was Berri Sweet, who took a painful loss of $720,738.
 
Taking the two weeks August 14 to September 2, the stats from Full Tilt and Pokerstars show that Blom was the biggest winner over the period thanks to a profit of $2,955,738, which also took him to the top of the list year-to-date with $3,364,052, although he is still down $1,367,244 on Full Tilt.
 
Other successful players in the two-week period include Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky on $819,340 and "Yoghii" on $373,431.
 
Not so fortunate were "Krafty_It" who dropped $285,330 and Jean-Robert "Jaqueline" Bellande, down $226,362.   
  
Phil Ivey, using the nom-de-plumes "Polarizing" and "Raise Once" has had a tough year so far, losing a total of $2,179, 912.
 
He is joined at the losing end by "bbvisbadforme" who is down $965,770; "Sanlker" -$910,746; Mikael "ChaoRen160" Thuritz down $667,168; Jean-Robert Bellande
-$612,669 and "8superpoker" down $532,216.
