Timmins Quits SG Gaming

Tuesday February 5,2013 : SG GAMING CHIEF QUITS

Timmins has been CEO of the merged gambling group for just four months

In October last year Ian Timmis took up the mantle of chief executive officer at London-based SG Gaming, a company formed by Scientific Games merging its Barcrest, Games Media and The Global Draw subsidiaries.

It has turned out to be a short tenure, with Timmis resigning effective end March 2013 in order to return to Australia "for personal reasons."

There is little doubt that the Cambridge-educated exec will find management employment back in the land of Oz; he has an impressive 20-year industry management background that includes time spent at Capral Limited as chief financial officer and a period as group general manager for the Aussie gambling supply company Aristocrat.
