Betting tip authority goes fully live after soft launch
 
Scotland-based 180Vita, owner of PokerTube, FootballTube and PokerVP, has gone fully live with its free social betting site TipDay following a soft launch earlier this year.
 
Tipday allows players to predict the outcome of sporting events from English Premier League football to NBA basketball.  The more accurate the tip, the more points a player can earn to eventually achieve "expert" status on their preferred sports.
 
TipDay provides odds from a variety of sportsbooks should players wish to progress to real-money betting.
 
“With more and more people becoming interested in sports betting, we wanted to build the world’s largest sports tipping authority to help provide a fun and social way to learn how to make informed bets,” 180Vita founder Jamie Nevin said.

180Vita expects to roll out TipDay iOS, Android and Facebook apps before the end of the second quarter, 2014.
