Uk Lottery Makes 347 People Millionaires in 2016

CAMELOT CROWNS RECORD 347 MILLIONAIRES IN 2016

Despite challenges in the latter part of the year.

The UK National Lottery delivered a record number of millionaires over the past year with 347 people receiving cheques for GBP 1 million or more, six more millionaires than in 2015.  Combined winnings were revealed as GBP 862 million.

The lottery’s highest jackpot won was GBP 66 million, followed by GBP 35 million in April. 

According to Lottery operator Camelot, truck and lorry drivers have proven to be the luckiest profession in 2016, surpassing the previous top winning building industry.
