Tuesday April 30, 2013 : FIRST U.S. LEGAL REAL-MONEY ONLINE POKER SITE LIVE

Station Casinos majority owned subsidiary launches Ultimate Poker

Las Vegas-based Ultimate Gaming, a majority-owned subsidiary of Station Casinos LLC, opened its real-money online poker doors to players located in Nevada today (Tuesday) at Ultimate Poker.com.

The launch marks Ultimate Gaming as the first company in the United States to offer legal and secure online poker.

"There was black Friday, and now we're going to have ‘trusting Tuesday,'" said Ultimate Gaming chief executive officer Tobin Prior. "Players won't have to worry if their money is safe. They are going to be able to play with people they can trust and know the highest regulatory standards have been applied."

Whether resident or not, poker players can register an account and deposit online in advance of visiting the State of Nevada.  Deposits and cash-outs can be made at 16 Station Casino locations across the State. Players will need to complete a lengthy account setup process involving a Social Security number and a Nevada address.  Only players older than 21 are eligible to play.

Ultimate Gaming was created by four gaming and technology entrepreneurs and its top team comprises: Tom Breitling as co-founder and Chairman, Tobin Prior as chief executive officer, Chris deRossi as chief technology officer, Joe Versaci as chief marketing officer and Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta of Station Casinos LLC.

“We have worked closely with state gaming regulators to demonstrate our unique and compelling poker platform that, above all, players know they can trust. Ultimate Poker is dedicated to being the players’ choice for online poker,” said Ultimate Poker co-founder and Chairman Tom Breitling.

Ultimate Poker utilises proprietary software which is owned and operated by parent company Ultimate Gaming.  The software was developed through the company's acquisition of CyberArts in 2011.  The site will initially offer Limit Texas hold'em and no-limit Texas hold'em ring games ranging from $0.01/$0.02 to $10/$20.

“We feel our technology is a major advantage. Ultimate Poker’s proprietary software is completely owned and operated by parent company Ultimate Gaming, allowing for continuous investment and product development,” added Ultimate Poker Chief Executive Officer Tobin Prior. “The technology was acquired in 2011 and initially developed by a U.S.-based company with a completely clean regulatory profile.”

Ultimate Gaming has prepped for the launch of Ultimate Poker for months with its logo enjoying prime positioning on the mixed martial arts Ultimate Fighting Championship brand which is owned by the Fertitta brothers.

"This is a really huge moment for our company, the state of Nevada and the gaming community," Breitling said. "We're hoping to make poker fun again."
