Friday September 23, 2011 : US ONLINE POKER PETITION OFF TO A SLOW START

5000 signatures needed before Government consideration
 
The PPA’s pro-online poker petition on the US Government communication website entitled “We the People”  is seemingly off to a leisurely start with only 2000 signatures registered thus far, far short of the 5000 required.
 
The petition requires a minimum of 5000 signatures within a 30 day period in order for the issue to receive a thorough review by the Government.
 
Mid-October is the cut-off date.
