NEw Attack on Washington state Gambling Laws

Thursday March 28,2013 : ATTACK ON WASHINGTON ONLINE GAMBLING LAWS BACK FROM THE CODE REVISER

Poker players now in a position to launch their attack with petitions and social networking

Poker player Curtis Woodward and his associates are now ready to launch their attack on tough Washington state anti-online gambling laws following the return of their initial proposal from the official Code Reviser

Two voter proposals were submitted to the Code Reviser, seeking language approval for measures designed to either overthrow anti-online poker laws and legalise the pastime, or alternatively mitigate the severe C-class felony penalties that the state can currently impose.

The Code Reviser has allocated reference numbers I-582 and I-583 respectively.

Woodard's strategy is to lobby Washington state politicians, use social networking vehicles and push forward a petition urging the state Legislature to make the necessary changes, suggest alternatives or do nothing and see the measures go to the annual state ballot of voters in November.

Volunteers to assist in the implementing the various tactics Woodard has assembled will be welcomed, and those who can held are directed to the waipokernow.com website for details.
