Prison sentences handed down to unscrupulous employees
 
A fraud scandal involving two employees, GBP 70 000 and The Weather Lottery (TWL) has culminated in both accused being sentenced by a Nottingham Crown Court this week.
 
The duo were charged following a UK Gambling Commission investigation into financial irregularities at TWL between April 2008 and April 2010, the results of which were referred to the Nottinghamshire Police.
 
Keith Milhench (56), the former managing director of TWL who pleaded guilty to misappropriation of jackpot payments, has been given a 28-month prison sentence, while Amie Pickersgill-Smith (30) was given a 20-week prison sentence suspended for 18 months and has been ordered to carry out 120 hours of community service.
