Weike Gaming Technology Launching New Slots

Deal with ONEworks signed.
 
Weike Gaming Technology, a Singapore-based land casino game provider, has inked a deal with the open gaming platform provider ONEworks that will see some of its slot products translate to the online environment.
 
ONEworks, which has technology and programming operations in Taiwan, develops sportsbook software services to gaming companies, and said in a statement confirming the deal:
 
“Weike games have been integrated onto the ONEworks platforms and will go live with two player classic game titles.
 
“The titles from the Weike’s slot portfolio represent a specific targeting of various South East Asian markets where the games are extremely popular in land-based venues.”
 
Popular Weike games in Macau and Singapore include ‘Qin Shi Huang’, named and themed based on China’s first emperor. Another popular slot title is ‘The Landlord’ – or ‘Dou Di Zhu’ – themed on a popular Chinese card game that translates as ‘Beat the landlord’.
 
Peter Kup-Ferroth, vice president for product marketing at Weike, said the agreement with ONEworks “is the perfect avenue for us to provide a transition of our popular games into the online environment”.
