More exposure in Ligue 1 2015-16 season.

French online poker operator Winamax has closely followed its sponsorship deal with OGC Nice (see previous InfoPowa report) with another Ligue 1 club FC Nantes for the 2015-2016 season.

As an official partner Winamax’s recognisable red W branding will appear during the first game of the season at the Beaujoire stadium.

Other promotional opportunities included in the deal comprise ticket give-aways, betting offers and meet and greet of team members during a poker tournament in the sports arena.

Alexander Roos, Winamax president and chief executive officer, commenting on the deal said: "Following the recent launch of our sports betting offer, it was logical to increase our presence in the world of football, the number 1 sport in the industry.”
