WMS Shareholders Ok Scientific Games merger

Majority of shareholders in favour of Scientific Games deal
 
The majority of WMS Industries Inc. shareholders voted in favour of the proposed merger to Scientific Games at a special shareholder meeting held late last week.
 
Scientific Games will pay around $ 1. 42 billion for the company  with the merger expected to be completed towards the end of the year but is subject to certain gaming jurisdiction approvals and other standard closing conditions.
 
Neither firm delivered sparkling results in their latest fiscal reports.
