WMS Gaming has been given the nod by the Nevada State Gaming Control Board, a positive step towards being authorised to operate as an interactive gaming system manufacturer and as a service provider in the State under a business-to-business licence.
 
The process will now move forward to the Nevada Gaming Commission for the final decision on approval.
 
The company heads up social networking free-to-play slots application "Lucky Cruise" and UK-focused online casino Jackpotparty.
 
In related news, casino operator American Casino and Entertainment Properties was recommended as an interactive gaming operator.  The company who owns Stratosphere and the  Arizona Charlie’s casinos said it will launch a free-to-play poker site this year as a marketing tool and offer real-money play following regulatory approval.
