Friday August 3,2012 : WORLD MATCH GOING LARGE ON THE ITALIAN ONLINE GAMBLING MARKET

Games developer is gearing up for December's opening for casino game action

When the Italian online gambling regulator AAMS opens the dedicated Italian market to internet casino games in December 2012, games developer World Match will be ready with a suite of newly developed and relevant games that include roulette, card games and video pokers; all of them pre-certified to comply with current Italian regulations and customised to operator specs.

"World Match is now ready to release in the Italian market over 50 slot machines," a company spokesman said this week. "This is a very interesting opportunity for licensees who want to exploit the forthcoming market opening."

The company will initially release a mix of thirty new games across a range of genres to coincide with the further liberalisation of the dot.it market.

Arrangements are also in hand for the provision of live dealer action under a direct agreement with the Malta-based Casino of Vittoriosa.

The ‘Casinò di Vittoriosa’ portal, along with Casino di Venezia Online is owned by Vittoriosa Gaming Ltd,  a private company whose shareholding is held 60 percent by Betlive Ltd and 40 percent by Casinò Municipale di Venezia S.p.a. The company is managed by CEO Fernando Orlandi, one of the founders of  Eurobet. Online poker is offered through Ongame Network Italy.
