World Poker tour Adds London On its stops

5/4/10 – Party Gaming’s World Poker Tour has added London to its schedule of stops later this year.
 
The upmarket Mayfair area, and specifically the Palm Beach Casino in the Mayfair Hotel, will be the venue for the action, which will take place between August 29 and September 5 2010.
 
Main event action is to be capped at 400 players, and will cost entrants GBP5 000+GBP300 to participate (but there will be online qualifiers to send some players to the tables), a statement from the company revealed.
 
WPT president Adam Pliska says: “London is a great poker destination and has always been a major target in our ongoing expansion.
