Nabil Cordoso takes down the PMU.fr WPT National Marrakech High Roller
 
Spanish poker pro Nabil Cordoso boosted his career earnings by a useful $66,873 this week when he was awarded the first prize in the PMU.fr WPT National Marrakech High Roller event in Marrakech.
 
The event attracted a competitive entry field of 146 and was decided in 12 hours on the second day of the action when Cordoso defeated runner up and local pro Soufiane Ouadoudy heads up with treys against ace-three in the early hours of the morning.
 
The final table boasted a hefty component of international players in addition to Cordoso, including Henrique Pinho of Portugal; Belgiums Gabriel Ergen; Sarah Herzali, Bernard Guigon and Joseph Pineiro from France and Mathieu Selides of Egypt.
 
17 players in all cashed in the event.
 
All eyes now turn to todays Main Event in Marrakech, which has been entered by railbird-pulling pros like Barney Boatman, Tony Dunst, Roberto Romanello and Natalia Breviglieri.
