World Poker Tour Stopping New Signups

Marketing affiliates claim new player sign-ups are to cease from March 1st
 
Some marketing affiliates were reporting this week that they have received notification from Bwin.Party staffers that all new player sign-ups for subsidiary World Poker Tour will be halted from March 1st, although the brand will continue to service existing players, albeit with Party Poker promotions.
 
Apparently affiliate deals already in place will not be impacted by the decision, which appears to be a further consolidation of brands by the giant European internet gambling group. Earlier this week the group shut down Pokerroom.com
