Thursday June 30, 2011 : Event 48: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em concluded its second day early hours of Thursday morning with 30 survivors remaining from the massive initial field of 2,713. Sebastian Winkler holds the chip lead on 1,156,000, chased by Matt Stout on 1,062,000

The second day started with 370 players after a hectic first day in which the huge entry field was drastically thinned out, costing many top players their buy-in as they were eliminated, among them David Singer, Jonathan Little, James Mackey, Chino Rheem, and Sorel Mizzi, who busted in one of the last hands of the night.

Not in the top ten but still in the remaining small field are Yevgeniy Timoshenko and Mike DeMichele, making for an interesting third day as this event nears a conclusion.
