Rosadoni wins World Series of Poker Europe NLHE Shootout
 
Giovanni Rosadoni (52), a French businessman who hails from Nice picked up a useful winner’s prize of Euro 107,614 this week in the Euro 3,250 buy-in No-limit hold 'em Shootout at the World Series of Poker Europe to become the third French WSOP champ for 2012.
 
Twenty players benefited from the Euro 406,080 prize pool, with 28-year-old Las Vegas poker pro Dan O’Brien, claiming second place and a prize of Euro 66,503.
 
The field included poker aces like John Monette (finished third); Oleksii Kovalchuk (fourth); John Duthie (ninth); Philippe Boucher (eleventh); Phil Hellmuth (twelfth); Chance Kornuth (fourteenth); Daniel Negreanu and Faraz Jaka (sixteenth and seventeenth respectively); and Max Stout (eighteenth).
