No More Credit Cards for Yahoo DFS

Daily fantasy sports punters at the Yahoo operation were told this week that with immediate effect credit card deposits would not be accepted, although in the same communication the company advised that PayPal was still acceptable.
 
The motivation for the withdrawal of the credit card facility is not clear, although earlier this year a similar ban introduced by Vantiv and CitiGroup listed the reason as the lack of clarity regarding the legal status of DFS.
