Zoom Poker Now Offers Omaha and Five Card Draw

Omaha, Omaha hi/lo and five-card draw now available in speed poker offering
 
Pokerstars' formal real money launch of its speed poker product Zoom Poker this week was preceded by extensive testing in beta format, the company has revealed, disclosing that over 300 million hands were played in the two month public test phase, and millions more whilst the product was in development.
 
The effort has been worthwhile, with a relatively trouble-free launch that has attracted tens of thousands of players to play on the poker giant's site, turbo-boosting traffic.
 
Zoom was originally available only for low stakes NLHE, but proved to be hugely popular, leading to the introduction of Omaha, Omaha hi/lo and Five-Card Draw with stakes ranging up to $2.50/5.
 
Team Pokerstars professional player Daniel Negreanu says he is a big fan of the genre: “Zoom Poker offers people a different way to play poker," he said this week.
 
"Recreational players, who want more constant action, will be able to fold instantly and wait for better hands, while pro grinders will be able to get in hundreds of more hands an hour and win more. And it’s just so much fun to play!”
 
Pokerstars already has an eye on an expansive future for Zoom, with Zoom Poker Mobile already released on the Android OS for players on PokerStars.com, PokerStars.eu and PokerStars.net with a number of improvements to the origina
