For instance, two through six are the low cards and are valued at +1.  Seven through nine get zero, and 10, Jacks, Queens, Kings, and Aces are valued at -1.  You’ll start the count after the shuffle, and you’ll start at zero.  Every time you see a card with a face value of two through six, for example, you’ll add one to the count.  If you see a card valued at seven through nine you’ll do nothing, and the high cards will subtract one.
