Joseph Cheong wins Asian Poker Tour Manila Millions

Hefty pay-day for WSOP final tabler
 
Joseph Cheong took the Asian Poker Tour Manila Millions title late this week boosting his bank balance by HK$10.4 million (US$1.34 million).
 
Cheong outlasted the 18-man field in the super high rollers event with a HK$ 1 million buy-in, pitting himself against well know poker pros Joe Hachem, Sam Trickett, Philipp Gurissem and others.
 
Following a preflop all-in battle against Richard Yong, Cheong emerged victorious.
 
Also ending up in the money were Richard Yong in second place with a prize of HK$ 6.5 million, Richard Peter Chan at third with HK$ 4.1 million and Paul Phua at fourth with HK$3.1M.
