Heat Vs. Pacers NBA East Final

Heat Prepared For Much More Physical Series Versus Pacers In East Final

The Miami Heat understand what is coming when they take on the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals. Lebron James and company will be ready. The top seed from the East was served noticed by the Pacers and Chicago Bulls during the regular season, and responded in their first test of the  postseason with a dominant performance against Chicago in the second round. The Pacers will look to beat Miami up both on the scoreboard and in the trenches when they meet, and it will be on Lebron and company to respond the way they did against the Bulls.

It didn’t take long for the Heat to adjust in their Eastern Conference second round series.  Of course, there was the complaining and the working of the officials, but in the end it was the team that responded and played much more physical basketball. Miami is the best team left standing in terms of elite superstar talent, particularly if Dwyane Wade can stay healthy. Wade, Lebron, and Chris Bosh have been to consecutive NBA Finals, and they understand what it will take to get back there for a third-straight live betting year. Lebron once again took the team on his back and made himself better in order to get the Heat through, and he will be ready to adjust again when it comes to battling Indiana.

That said, the Pacers stand to give the Heat a much more difficult test than the Bulls did in the second round, as injuries and inconsistent play at both ends of the floor led to Chicago really wearing down as the  series went on. Indiana head coach Frank Vogel has maximized the potential of his players and really taken it to opponents at both ends of the floor, as was the case again in their seven-game series against the New York Knicks. The key for the Pacers will be to bring a much more consistent effort, as they can’t afford the off nights that cost them against New York last round. Paul George was incredible when it came to both scoring and slowing down Carmelo Anthony at the defensive end of the floor, and you can bet he will be matched up against Lebron in this series.

When the Heat made a promise that they would deliver with multiple championships, it was something that they were criticized and ridiculed for. Now Miami is on the verge of reaching the NBA Finals for the third-straight  year, and are the defending champions, and suddenly that prophecy is starting to become a reality. The Heat have all of the weapons they need to make a run to the NBA Finals beginning with Lebron, and they will be prepared for whatever the Pacers throw at them in the Eastern Conference Final.
