OKLAHOMA MEN INDICTED ON INTERNET GAMBLING CHARGES

Allegations that Konawa man operated an online sports betting website for two years
 
Two men have been indicted by an Oklahoma grand jury for running an online sports betting website over the past two years.
 
David Roy Tune (61) faces allegations on thirty counts that include illegal gambling and racketeering on which he could be punished by 10 years jail-time.
 
Prosecutors claim that the online gambling website launched on Aug. 22, 2008, and that Tune monitored the wagers and visited the players’ cities to settle up.
 
“At times … Tune prohibited players from placing bets until such time as their accounts were brought current,” grand jurors alleged.
 
Clyde Lee “C.L.” Richards (54) is involved in three of the charges, in which investigators claim that he threatened a gambler last year to get him to pay a gambling debt.
 
Both Tune and Richards were incarcerated in the Oklahoma County jail Friday night.
