Minted Poker leaves Everleaf network

Thursday May 16,2013 : EVERLEAF POKER SKIN EXODUS CONTINUES

Minted Poker leaves for little-known Plutos Poker Network

The embattled Everleaf online poker network  suffered another loss this week when one of its most popular skins, Minted Poker.eu, jumped ship and headed off to the little-known Plutos poker network, offering tempting inducements to players in what appears to be an attempt to duplicate its player base rather than transfer players from the Everleaf player base.

This means that players will not be able to transfer their funds due to the apparent inability of Everleaf to facilitate player withdrawals.

On the positive side, Minted is reportedly offering players moving to Plutos a no deposit bonus. To cash out this bonus, players must rake one Euro for every Euro received, effectively a 100 percent rakeback.

Players will be also be eligible for a “releasable bonus” awarded in increments at a rate of 75 percent of rake. Players will continue to receive these bonuses until they have redeemed money equal to the funds frozen on Everleaf or until Everleaf manages to fulfil its player obligations.

The operator behind Minted Poker has been outspoken on the issues – principally awful communications, lack of responsiveness and excessively long-delayed payments to players – plaguing Everleaf since its departure from the US market after enforcement threats. The network holds player balances rather than the skins themselves.

Despite claims by Everleaf's regulator, the LGA in Malta that most players have been paid by the network a very significant volume of complaints continues and things are clearly not right with the network.

Not much is known about Plutos, which only launched in February 2013 under a Curacao licence. Traffic is understandably low and the network has only a limited number of tables in action and nine mainly small operator skins signed up. The network is not US friendly.
