Pinnacle poker room closes

Poker network no longer accepts Curacao licence
 
Pinnacle Sports, a US-facing sportsbook, has announced it will be closing down its Entraction hosted poker room on June 15 2011.
 
In a statement to players, Pinnacle advised that the Entraction Poker Network would no longer accept the poker room’s Curacao licence due to recent updates to EU gaming regulation.
 
To remain on the network, Pinnacle would have to undertake a number of steps that would require a significant commitment that the company believes would be better utilised in the development of its sportsbook and casino products.
 
All access to the poker room client will be removed from Wednesday, June 15.
