ONLINE GAMBLING SOFTWARE PROVIDER UP FOR SALE

Wizard Gaming calls it a day

Wizard Gaming, a promising internet gambling software provider which started several years ago and is registered on the Isle of Man, has announced that it is withdrawing from the industry and auctioning off its assets.

One of the company's directors told InfoPowa this week that the directors of the company had decided after exploring strategic options for the company, other than it remaining an independent software developer, to hold a public and open auction for its assets for around $300 000.

He said that the company's directors have come to the conclusion that the company's software
can be commercialized faster in the hands of new owner's.  Wizard's software has taken over four years to develop and the company spokesman claimed that it has a book development cost of over $5 million.

The software comprised a number of unique slot games which generally found favour with the playing public, but nevertheless the software provider appeared to have difficulty in recruiting suitable licensees to further the business.
