New free-to-play internet poker site Launches

AC& EP introduces acePLAYpoker
 
American Casino and Entertainment Properties, a Nevada online poker licensee and parent group of the Stratosphere and Arizona Charlie’s casinos in Las Vegas, launched free-to-play internet poker site acePLAYpoker.com Tuesday, joining a growing number of US land operators offering such sites as a prelude to legalised online poker operations.
 
Players on acePLAYpoker can win prizes such as Vegas show tickets and thrill rides at the Stratosphere and free hotel stays at American Casino & Entertainment casinos within the state of Nevada.
 
The online site will operate around the clock, seven days a week.
 
Alec Driscoll, AC&EP's director of gaming development, said Tuesday:
 
“With the launch of this free to play website, we can now bring the excitement of play found at our properties to anyone with Internet access, no matter their location. We are also positioning ACEP and acePLAYpoker.com for the potential approval of legalized online gaming.”
 
The new site is powered by Ongame poker software obtained through Bally Technologies, which recently signed an MOU with Ongame owners Amaya Gaming
