Amanda Leatherman : Bovada Vegas Party Recap
4/21/2012 : What's up poker peeps?! Well, besides having the flu pretty badly for a week, I also went to Vegas for ONE night. Bovada flew me out last minute to a pretty sick party if you ask me.
This is the exact kind of thing that I absolutely LOVE about Bovada. Spontaneous trip to Vegas? I think so! I flew out Thursday night and there was a car waiting for me at the airport, to take me to Planet Hollywood. I ordered some room service and headed up to the Bovada Suite to mingle a bit. Besides having an amazing looking suite, there were games and booze to go along with it. Oh, and five big screens so that we could keep up with March Madness. Sounds pretty good, right?
I played Pool and Foosball with the players and affiliates, that were invited as guests most of the day. I learned that I really love Foosball and I think I'm pretty freakin' good at it. Maybe I should start betting on that? haha. The Bovada staff were all extremely nice and welcoming right away as well. Everyone decided to go chill in their rooms for a bit before the big party that night at Marquee Nightclub, at Cosmopolitan. So here's the question I asked everyone else that day… I had been sick for a week already and was finally getting over it. To drink or not to drink?..
I think you all already know the answer to that question! I did. I'm not even sure why I asked exactly. 🙂 When we walked into Marquee Nightclub, it was obviously VIP the entire time. We had a huge section in the back with about six tables, full of bottles, of whatever you might want. Marquee club is one of the biggest nightclubs I've ever seen in Vegas.
People aren't piled on top of each other waiting for drinks. Everyone showed up, plus more! There was a photographer there taking tons of pictures, that I'm sure will be embarrassing later. 😉 At midnight, super hot chicks brought out bottles of Champagne, dancing with black lights all around our tables. I probably had one too many glasses of Champagne and headed out around 3am. I will definitely be back at Marquee and I cannot wait for the next Bovada party. I think we did it up right! I'll catch up with you guys soon! Until then.. keep betting!
