BETFAIR ENTERS GERMAN SPORTS SPONSORSHIP MARKET

Monday July 25, 2011 : Multi-cultural sports club kicks off new season with betting exchange as its main sponsor
 
The Turkish-Berliner founded multi-cultural sports club Türkiyemspor Berlin has found a main sponsor in online betting exchange Betfair.
 
The sponsorship deal covers the duration of the 2011-12 season with an option for renewal and marks Betfair's first sponsorship foray into the German market.
 
A  Türkiyemspor Berlin spokesperson commented: “Our partnership with Betfair in the new season is an important and successful step for us. Signing a sponsorship contract with an internationally successful organisation is another important step in multi-cultural bridge building for Türkiyemspor and it is a sign of our appeal."
 
“Türkiyemspor has worked hard both in the field of athleticism and in working for tolerance and integration within and beyond the local community. For us they are more than a football club.
